Quality & Regulatory

We're dedicated to exceptional quality every step of the way.

We are a fast-paced and innovative company, and our global Quality & Regulatory teams mirror this dynamic. Focused on collaboration and partnership, we work together to support and promote quality and regulatory adherence across the company. Our colleagues take personal ownership for the quality of the work they do each day, getting it right the first time, with the customer in mind.

Our commitment to quality is at the heart of our values and is the cornerstone of our business. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, product quality can mean ensuring a proper cancer diagnosis, identifying environmental substances, exonerating the innocent in the criminal justice system, facilitating a transplant procedure and countless other important outcomes. Quality spans every effort, at every stage, every time.

We fulfill our Mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer by continuously improving the quality of our products and services and by ensuring global regulatory compliance. We live by the motto of Making Quality Personal.

Making Quality Personal for colleagues globally

Our Making Quality Personal education program is available to colleagues globally. It further elevates our values and expectation that quality is everyone’s responsibility. It is part of every aspect of our daily work.

As a Thermo Fisher Scientific colleague, you will gain an understanding from this program of how your role influences quality and compliance daily and how you can implement the latest quality tools and techniques. Making Quality Personal amplifies the importance of quality across the company, and how our collective focus results in a better experience for customers, patients and communities.

Hear from our colleagues

"People often ask what has kept me here for so long and my response is that Thermo Fisher has always allowed me a positive work-life balance, the opportunity to work with amazing people and products I am truly passionate about "
Lisa, Senior Quality Manager
“I partner with an amazing team, and I share what I have learned with motivated colleagues. Patients' needs and concerns, drug development, availability issues, safety questions, quality complaints – this role is intense. It’s all about doing the right thing for every patient. Finding a better way every day – that’s what we do.”
Petya, Senior Quality and Training Specialist of Clinical Research, Bulgaria
"Not long after my son's first birthday, he had a febrile seizure. Two ambulance rides later we found ourselves in a doctor's office surrounded by equipment labeled as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Fisherbrand. Amongst all the unknowns with my son, I was realizing the reach of our products firsthand. You always know who our customers are, but when you become that customer, the magnitude of our work is evident... I am happy to report we are now a year seizure-free, and my son is a healthy, happy, wild child."
Carinne, Global Quality Systems Manager
