The regulatory affairs team earns top honors with TOPRA Awards.
PPD employees are committed to industry leadership at every level, and when our tenacity is recognized by an industry organization, it reaffirms the value of the passion that drives us. PPD earned two honors for excellence in regulatory affairs at The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA) Awards in London. TOPRA established its awards for regulatory excellence in 2010 to recognize the achievements of the regulatory affairs community, with winners selected by an independent judging panel.
PPD provides comprehensive regulatory services across the spectrum of global product development, registration and commercialization. With regulatory experience spanning all areas of pharmaceuticals, PPD’s global regulatory experts provide intelligence and strategic insight to optimize product success.
“PPD’s regulatory affairs teams are committed to the pursuit of excellence in providing regulatory intelligence for product development and registration strategies and ensuring high-quality submissions to regulatory authorities,” said William Sharbaugh, chief operating officer of PPD. “Congratulations to our employees for being recognized as industry leaders for their expertise and efforts to help our clients improve patient health.”
Evolus, Inc., a U.S.-based biotechnology company that utilizes PPD services, nominated the collaborative Evolus-PPD team for the TOPRA Award for Support, which recognizes the critical role supporting organizations play in drug development. PPD has provided Evolus an end-to-end service solution from the outset of early engagement consulting activities, including scientific advice through to clinical trial execution and the filing and management of global marketing applications (MA).
“The PPD team integrated seamlessly with our team, providing a global ‘one team’ solution to meet our corporate goals,” said Del Stagg, Ph.D., vice president, regulatory affairs of Evolus.
Clare Ryder, Ph.D., associate director of regulatory affairs of PPD, received the TOPRA Award in the Contribution category, which recognizes significant and consistent contributions to a team, project, regulatory science or the profession. Ryder, who also is a member of the Evolus-PPD team, was recognized for reliably meeting clients’ goals of submitting MAs within often tight timeframes.
The TOPRA awards underscore the values that PPD employees use to guide their success, including ongoing dedication to earning our customers’ trust and a commitment to do the right thing. Our integrity defines us and we never compromise quality of patient safety. If these values align with yours, we invite you to explore career opportunities with PPD.
