
Tina Bostic, RN
Tina Bostic is vice president of pharmacovigilance (PV) with direct responsibility for overseeing PV operations in North and South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. She provides strategic direction, leadership and management for global PV services, and participates in PPD divisional management efforts to ensure continued staff training and development, appropriate utilization of resources, and creation of and adherence to corporate policies. Bostic collaborates with other functional leaders to promote and sustain business endeavors. In addition, she proactively plans for technological innovations to optimize business process management.
Experience
Tina Bostic joined PPD in October 2000 as an associate safety coordinator and earned successive management positions of increased responsibility that led to her current role in 2013. Her therapeutic expertise encompasses nephrology, infection/parasitic diseases, oncology, endocrine/metabolic, nervous system/sense organs, circulatory, respiratory and genitourinary. Bostic, who is a registered nurse, has 10 years of experience as a clinical manager, administrative analyst and staff nurse.
Education
Tina Bostic holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy administration with an emphasis in health policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an associate degree in nursing from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, North Carolina.
