New Research Study for Healthy Volunteers in Austin

• Purpose of the study: to evaluate how different presentations and formulations of the study drug are absorbed, distributed, broken down and eliminated by the body in healthy adults. 
• The study drug is being developed as a potential treatment for severe cases of hypertriglyceridemia (when the levels of certain fats in your blood are extremely high) 
• Healthy volunteers are needed at this stage of research. 
• This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time. 

• Healthy Adults
• 18 to 55 years old 
• Body Mass Index (BMI) of 18-30 kg/m2

• Non-Smoker/ non-user of nicotine containing products/abstain while in-house 
• Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician 
• Available and willing to commit to study visit structure – You will be asked to stay in our clinic for a total of 4-nights. Two separate in-house stays: one 2-night stay, followed by another 2-night stay and return for 2 total outpatient follow up visits. 

Total of up to $5,200  

• May receive an additional $750 upon completion if you have a  later check-in dates 
• You may be required to check-in 2 weeks later for your second in-house stay, more details will be provided at your initial screening visit.  
• The study duration may end up being 10 weeks depending if your second in-house stay and follow up visit is extended. The study site will provide details at your screening visit.
