Up to $100 per completed visit for Adult Volunteers diagnosed with uncontrolled and resistant hypertension

Study Information

  • The purpose of this study is to assess the blood pressure lowering effect of an investigational drug in combination with 2-5 prescribed medications, used for treating high blood pressure, in people with uncontrolled and resistant hypertension. One of the 2-5 prescibed medications must be a thiazide or thiazide-like diurectic. 
  • The study drug is being developed as a potential treatment for uncontrolled and resistant hypertension. 
  • Volunteers with uncontrolled and resistant hypertension are needed at this stage of research. 
  • This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time. 

Participant Qualifications

  • Volunteers diagnosed with uncontrolled or resistant high blood pressure that is not well controlled with current medications prescribed by a doctor. 
  • Must be on between 2 and 5 blood pressure medications with one being a thiazide or thiazide-like diuretic 
  • 18+ years old 
  • Body Mass Index (BMI) of >18kg/m2 (no limit)

  • History of high blood pressure lasting at least 6 months prior to Screening  
  • Limited-Smoker/ cutoff duration/30 mins before study visit 
  • Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician 
  • Available and willing to commit to study visit structure – You will be asked to participate in up to 9 outpatient visits with up to 12 weeks of at-home dosing. 

 

Compensation

Total of up to $1,320

Up to $100 for each completed visit 

Up to $300 for logging your activity daily in an application 

Up to $20 per visit with 100% compliance for taking your medication
