Thermo Fisher Scientific Earns Clinical Research Company of the Year Recognition, Honored with argenx at PharmaTimes Americas Competition

WILMINGTON, N.C., (November 12, 2025) – The PPD™ clinical research business of Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, has been named Clinical Research Company of the Year at the prestigious PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year-Americas competition – and was recognized for excellence with argenx, a global immunology company committed to improving the lives of people suffering from severe autoimmune diseases.

Together, Thermo Fisher and argenx competed in the global partnership team category of the competition, held recently in Raleigh, North Carolina, winning silver. In addition to winning the company of the year award, the PPD clinical research business received three team awards and 12 individual awards highlighting the outstanding contributions of its professionals in advancing clinical research.

The Clinical Researcher of the Year competition consists of a rigorous series of assessments, including a three-stage competition, where participants give presentations before a panel of experienced industry judges. The event was created to provide clinical research professionals an opportunity to benchmark their skills against their peers in a program of competency-based exercises developed through cross-industry collaboration.
