Clinical Futures Forum

Clinical Futures Forum

October, 6 2026    Hotel Commonwealth, Boston
Invitation only

Clinical development is changing fast. AI, connected data, evolving regulation, and new partnership models are reshaping how trials are designed and delivered. But meaningful innovation must do more than introduce new technology — it must improve outcomes for patients, sites, sponsors, and study teams.

The Clinical Futures Forum is an exclusive, in-person forum hosted by Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Clinical Research Group. This focused event brings together customers, partners, investigators, and CRG leaders to explore the future of clinical development and the innovations already creating real-world impact.

Why attend

Explore the pressures reshaping clinical development and why current models need to evolve toward more human-centered, connected, and adaptive approaches.

Hear directly from patients, advocacy voices, investigators, and those closest to the trial experience about the problems innovation must solve to create meaningful impact.

Gain practical insight from client-led success stories and real-world examples of innovation already improving trial delivery, collaboration, and outcomes across the clinical ecosystem.

Hear perspectives on regulation, patient safety, AI governance, trust, and decision-making — and what sponsors and CROs must do to move innovation from promise to responsible adoption.

Learn how integrated services, data, technology, labs, sites, clinical operations, and partnerships can come together to design trials around people, not process.

Join senior leaders, clients, partners, and CRG experts in a future-focused discussion on what must change over the next three to five years — and how to engage in the next wave of clinical innovation.

Who is attending

This invitation-only forum is designed for senior leaders across clinical development, clinical operations, digital transformation, data and analytics, R&D, patient engagement, site strategy, procurement, vendor management, and strategic partnerships.
